Earth's Best was originally founded by Ron Koss and Arnie Koss in 1985. From day one, they recognized the need for wholesome, safe and pure baby food. Our children deserve the purity of nutritious fruits handpicked from organic orchards, fresh vegetables plucked from nature's perfect soil, and recipes made without over-processed or genetically engineered ingredients. With Earth's Best, our children get wholesome purity - right from the start.

History of Earth's Best

  • 1985Ron Koss and Arnie Koss begin the Vermont-based, organic baby food company
    called Earth's Best

  • 1987Organic food processing facility opens with just 20 employees producing three fruit purees and two vegetable purees

  • 1990Expands fruit and vegetable offerings and introduces baby cereals

  • 1995Earth's Best reaches a national distribution of over 50 varieties of baby food purees

  • 1996Earth's Best purchased by H.J. Heinz Company

  • 2000The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. purchased Earth's Best brand and develops
    Tots and Kidz lines

  • 2004Earth's Best partners with Sesame Street to promote the "Healthy Habits for Life" Initiative. The partnership with Sesame Street later expands into a full line of nutritious Sesame Street branded breakfasts, snacks, meals and frozen foods.

  • 2005Earth's Best brand expands to include Earth's Best Body Care by Jason

  • 2006Earth's Best launches first ever iron fortified Organic Infant Dairy and Soy Infant Formulas that contain DHA and ARA

  • 2008Earth's Best introduces Earth's Best TenderCare™ Chlorine Free Diapers and Wipes
